The original Thanksgiving is nothing like now there was no turkeys, mashed, or pumpkin pie as it says in the video. But they didn't mind no turkey they ate something else deer I personally think I like turkey better but who knows I never tried deer. Sara Josepha Hale an American writer she published recipes for pumpkin pie, turkey, stuffing and more. Which eventually became what we would call modern Thanksgiving. If it weren't for her we wouldn't really have a Thanksgiving. People kept changing the dates for thanksgiving tell they announced that its not going to be on a certain date but the fourth Thursday of November.
         My Thanksgivings are pretty much like this. We have huge meals, socialize, and like I said eat. I eat turkey, mashed potatoes, and corn we don't eat cranberry sauce like some people do. For dessert I don't eat pumpkin pie but cheesecakes and cupcakes. We host it a different place every year some years my house others my friends' houses. It's weird to think of how Thanksgiving started it feels like its been celebrated forever but no it hasn't. It's also only celebrated in the US.
